Snickers Cruncher

I had high hopes for this, because Snickers’ last foray into product extension (the Snickers ice cream bar) was highly delicious. I was disappointed, however, when I finally got my hands on a Cruncher. It didn’t suck, but... it just wasn’t the same. The main change is the addition of the crisped rice, but in order to stuff that in they had to decrease the peanuts and caramel - the very things which make Snickers the most complete and full-flavored chocolate bar. Cruncher isn’t bad, but they should take heed of the story of Icarus. If you’ve got a great thing, attempting to fly higher creates the risk of plummeting back down to the ground.
