Questions from Sad Banjo

cw: You always ask what’s the first album you ever bought, and what’s the first concert you ever attended. What are your answers?
kp:
When I was 8, I used to spend my $3 weekly allowance on Blondie 45s at the Woolworth’s by my house. Three out of the first four records I ever bought were Blondie 45s. The other was “Just Like Starting Over” by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

The first concert I attended was the “Calling All Nations” Tour: INXS, Guns n Roses, and Iggy Pop, among others. Because we lived so far away from everything, I didn’t get to go to concerts until I was 16, and even then, getting a ride there (and permission to stay out that late) was a big deal. But I was a huge INXS fan in the mid 80’s and when they came to Dallas, I pretty much demanded to go. I’ve seen much better concerts since, but it was a big deal at the time.

the Fonz. He never loses.

cw: What "male" celebrity would you make less "queer" if that would help you get in his pants?
kp:
I would make Paul Lynde more queer, but open to suggestions.

cw: What "female" celebrity would you make more "queer" if that would help you get in her pants?
kp:
Queen Elizabeth.

cw: If your proposed Jeter/Piven buddy cop movie falls thru, would you think to change the duo of mismatched cops to Elliott and Diesel? Lipnicki and Tucker? Van Damme and My Mom? Corn Mo and the Rock? Let me know.
kp:
I think Corn Mo and your Mom would make a great pair.

cw: How many "moves" does it take you to get to "Rhea Perlman" playing "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon"?
kp:
One. Kevin was in PLANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES with John Candy, who was later in CANADIAN BACON with Rhea.
