Kittenpants invited former interviewees to speak up about their views on the current state of the union. Here's what they had to say.

JON BENJAMIN Comedian/Actor Jon Benjamin was originally interviewed in Issue 25.

I'm a comedian and I thought the Bush administration was pretty funny for the first couple of years. I loved the idea that he was some dumb rube from Texas/New Haven/Kennebunkport who was mispronouncing his way into the hearts of America. Well, I've come to appreciate his humor less and less and, just like Friends and Seinfeld before that, he has lost his welcome in the world of good humor.

Remember when even your friends who you respected said Seinfeld was pretty funny? [Like it was] the best written sit-com ever? Fuck that bullshit. Didn't anyone ever see the one about the kid who was a robot? Certainly that was funnier than Seinfeld. "But what about the guy with the soup store who was mean? That was funny, especially because all the papers said so." I don't believe anything I read anymore. There is barely a perceptible idea of media responsibility in my country.

Here's what I think: Libertarians and all Jews should vote for Kerry. Seriously. I appeal to your best interests. Jews, think of all the times Israel won't get nuclear-bombed if Kerry is elected and Libertarians, think of a balanced budget and less government interference. When is the last time government has been this much of an imposition in the last two hundred years? Honestly. And what the fuck is with this war? I thought Vietnam was weird. Now, I'm beginning to see a pattern.
