It's Only Rock 'n Roll, But I Like It.
Super FOK-er* Matt Tobey has finally published his long-awaited Top 500 Songs list. If you like judging people based on their taste in music, like I do, then this is certainly something to see. Matt and fourteen friends each contributed his/her own top 100 list, complete with "liner notes" for some songs. For instance:

47. 808 State – Pacific
For me, this is perhaps the most influential electronic music track of all time. Without discovering 808 State back in 1990, I might never have discovered techno and the rave scene, and I might never have become a dj or started buying my own synthesizers and drum machines.

Frankly, I have never heard a more compelling argument in favor of building a Terminator and sending him back in time. But to each his own, right? Of course, I e-hugged the same guy when I saw he included some INXS. We can all get along.

32. "Origin of Love" – Hedwig and the Angry Inch
When I read Aristophanes' monologue in The Symposium back in college, I said to myself, "Somebody should write a song about this, and it should be featured in a movie about a transvestite rock singer with a mutilated dick." I'm glad somebody else thinks like me.

There are Worse Things You Could Do...
It's possible that John Travolta and Olivia Newton John are teaming up for a third Grease movie. I guess this story is like, two years old, and probably no longer true, but the fantasy of nine-year-old-me is keeping hope alive.
