Dear kittenpants:
I think I need your help.

I am 43 years old, male, slightly overweight, I'm a theory teacher and I live with my parents. I have never had a girlfriend before. My mother says this is ok and that all I need is her and even though she is great company and we do have a wonderful time together, I do get awful lonely, the only company I have, other than my parents, are my pupils and I'm too shy to speak to them.

Do you think it is normal for a man of my age to feel lonely? I feel so bad for decieving my mother. Help me get through this rough time kittenpants, I do not know what to do. I'm so confused, I know your going to tell me that I should be happy with what I have and I am, I am a very lucky man, but I need some help abolishing these deceitful ideas. I love my mother so much. Please help me. Thank you.

Your letter makes me sad and a little bit scared. You should talk to girls. We do not bite. You should tell your Mom to mind hers. You should move out of the house. You should ask someone who knows about these things.

You should work on the spelling.
