Dear person:
First, no. I did not steal the idea. Your letter was my first encounter with that article, and it describes a different idea than the iPod War I made up.

Second, there is no way in Hell that other version is real. Hipsters don't care what other random hipsters are listening to. If you live in Brooklyn you know that to walk up to a stranger on a train and touch his $300 gadget is to enter into a kill-or-be-killed situation.
